Paige Bueckers finds Azzi Fudd early and often in lopsided Wings win

They were in attendance for most of the Dallas Wings’ dominating, overpowering 79-56 victory over the Seattle Storm in the WNBA Commisioner’s Cup.

Fudd scored the game’s very first basket off an assist from Bueckers:

Fudd also added her next two baskets on Bueckers assists.

The only bucket for Fudd that wasn’t from somewhere else was an Alanna Smith setup.

The Wings weren’t super efficient in scoring but they held Seattle to 20-for-61 so the Dallas offense was enough.

Fudd finished with nine points on 4-for-7 shooting including 1-for-4 from deep. She finished with one rebound.

Bueckers was all over the place scoring 10 points (4-12 FG) pulling down nine rebounds and handing out seven assists.

As it turned out four of the Wings’ five starters scored nine points including Fudd and Bueckers had her 10.

Aziaha James came off the bench for 18 points in 18 minutes and that really sealed this game up.

But for the fans who have been following Paige and Azzi for a long time there were some cool moments of crossover here for sure.
