Chicago Sky rookie Gabriel Jaquez draws attention with pregame outfit

She had a spectacular run with the UCLA Bruins in the NCAA which led to her being selected No. 6 by the Chicago Sky.

She made her way to Wintrust Arena Tuesday for the showdown with Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream. The 6 foot guard was a stunner in her sleek yet sophisticated look. She was dressed in a fitted white scoop neck T shirt under a cream zip up hooded jacket. She finished the look with pointed toe low-heeled mules and high waisted tan shorts.

The Sky posted the clip of her walk through the tunnel on Instagram and it has received a lot of reactions.

Sky vs. Dream by Gabriela Jaquez

Jaquez couldn't make an impact against Atlanta. She ended with three points and four rebounds in the 82-75 loss. Skylar Diggins and Kamilla Cardoso were the top scorers for Chicago with 17 and 13 points respectively.

The rookie had been putting up 11.4 points, 5.0 boards and 1.1 assists before Tuesday’s showing proving she can do better. She’s going to be huge for the Sky to win more games down the stretch.

They will be back in action Thursday against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever. Jaquez will probably be looking to rebound against one of the best guards in the WNBA.
