Gamrot, Salkilld Complete UFC Vegas 120 Weigh Ins Ahead Of Main Event

The UFC Vegas 120 fight card is now set after the athletes weighed in ahead of Saturday’s event at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas.

Both boxers weighed in at 155.5 pounds, so the lightweight main event between Mateusz Gamrot and Quillan Salkilld is official.

It looks like one of the more exciting fights on the event, with Gamrot’s years of high-level experience up against an Australian prospect on the rise.

Gamrot has established himself as one of the experienced lightweight contenders in the UFC.

His wrestling, his grappling, his movement, his ability to keep the pressure on, he's a tough matchup for fighters all around the division.

Salkilld arrives to the contest with lots of confidence after an outstanding run of wins.

The younger man is dangerous with his finishing skills and this is a chance to make a significant statement against a more experienced opponent.

Also on the co main card is a lightweight bout between Billy Quarantillo and Diego Ferreira and Quarantillo tipped the scales at 155.5 pounds and Ferreira at 154.5 pounds.

One of the more dramatic events at the weigh ins was Amanda Lemos who had to make the strawweight limit three times for her fight with Alexia Thainara.

Lemos started at 117 pounds and finally made weight at 115.5 pounds on her last effort.

Darren Elkins also made weight successfully for his fight against Yadier del Valle as the remainder of the card was made official for competition.

The official weigh-ins are complete and it’s now on to fight nite.

Gamrot and Salkilld are set to resolve their lightweight showdown inside the Octagon, with both combatants aiming to make a major statement in Las Vegas.
