It may be an interesting challenge for Conor McGregor.

Since losing to Dustin Poirier for the second time in 2021, "The Notorious" hasn't fought.

Dana White says he's been talking to McGregor nonstop about a fight on the UFC White House Card, but fans still want to see him return.

And a previous world championship challenger has suggested an interesting opponent for the Irishman.

There is a chance that Conor McGregor will fight Tony Ferguson on the UFC White House show.

Chael Sonnen has said that Conor McGregor and Tony Ferguson should fight on the UFC White House show.

"The American Gangster" said that "El Cucuy" is not signed to the UFC right now, but he is not ruling out the prospect of the fight happening.

“Everyone can fight, and this fight won't change the rankings at all. Conor was formerly a world champion: therefore, he can fight anyone, but he is not ranked.

"So, if we bring him back, we could put him against an older name that you know, someone who isn't ranked. We can bring someone in."

"Tony Ferguson would still be an option. This won't change anything in the future. This event is only happening once.

Brendan Schaub predicts that Conor McGregor might fight three different people on the UFC White House show.

A fight between McGregor and Ferguson would definitely make the news.

But "Big Brown" wants the Dubliner to go down a different route.

As rumors about the legend's return grew, Schaub suggested three possible opponents for McGregor.
