Reeves said that his experience in NXT was valuable, especially because he got to learn from a lot of different instructors. He talked about working with trainers like Terry Taylor, Norman Smiley, Robbie Brookside, and Matt Bloom in particular. "The list goes on and on. He said, "Sarah Amato." He went on to say, "Not a lot of people get to do that." It was great. Being on the road, going to new cities, and things like that. It was a lot of fun.
Reeves said that a few of his favorite bouts were with opponents he liked working with. He said, "There were a lot of people I liked working with in NXT." I mean, Adam Cole was great to work with. Johnny Gargano was a professional. There were just so many great folks to work with, you know what I mean? It was great to work with Kenta. I wanted to collaborate with him.
Reeves also talked about his time at NXT and his relationship with Triple H, who was in charge of the show at the time. He said that Triple H would often give him helpful criticism. "I had a connection with Triple H. He pulled me to the side. He would tell me when there was a match on TV, give me advice, and tell me what I might do better. Reeves added, "And I go out there and work on that."
Reeves talked about his top aspirations after leaving WWE. He claimed that he is happy with his life right now, which includes a new full-time job. "I'm having fun right now." Reeves said, "I work full-time at Disney World." He said, "I'm a stunt performer at the Indiana Jones Show," which was his new job. I make a living by beating up Indiana Jones.
Reeves still wrestles on the side, though. He talked about his work with a Florida-based promotion and said, "I come out here and do wrestling." You know, Boca Raton Championship Wrestling happens every now and then. I also wrestle down there. I was the best over there. He also said that he has a newborn girl at home and that his goal is to "spread some Aloha around the world."
