Australia has to alter before the T20s against New Zealand

The Australian wicketkeeper will miss the T20I series in New Zealand, but a replacement has been found.

Australia has had to change their gloves before their T20I series in New Zealand, which starts on October 1.

Josh Inglis can't go on the tour since he hurt his calf, therefore, Alex Carey will take his place.

Inglis said his right calf hurt after a run in Perth earlier this week. After scans, he was ruled out of the series at Mount Maunganui.

Cricket Australia plans to put the wicketkeeper/batter on a special regimen in the hopes that he will be back in time for a home white-ball series against India that starts with the first of three ODIs on October 19.

Carey has hurt his calf before; he hurt it again when playing as a sub-fielder in last year's Boxing Day Test against India.

Inglis is an important element of Australia's white-ball teams, and his fitness also makes them think about red-ball cricket, since the wicketkeeper will probably back up Carey during the home Ashes summer.
